1. Vehicle Description & Condition
- All vehicles are sold “as seen” and inspected by the customer.
- The Seller endeavours to ensure that the description, mileage, service history, and condition of the vehicles are accurate to the best of their knowledge.
- Customers are encouraged to inspect and test-drive vehicles before purchase.
2. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are stated in GBP and are exclusive of VAT unless specified.
- A reservation deposit may be required to secure a vehicle. Reservation deposits are non-refundable, except where otherwise agreed in writing.
- Full payment must be received before vehicle handover. Payment methods accepted include bank transfer, debit/credit card, or other agreed-upon methods.
- Ownership of the vehicle transfers only upon receipt of full payment.
3. Reservation Deposits
- Payment of a reservation deposit secures the vehicle for a maximum period of 3 days, after which the deposit may be forfeited.
- If the Buyer fails to complete the purchase within the agreed period, the deposit will be retained by the Seller, unless otherwise agreed.
4. Delivery & Collection
- Vehicles may be collected by the Buyer from the business premises or delivered as per an agreed arrangement.
- A delivery fee shall apply for all deliveries, the amount of which will be confirmed at the time of arranging delivery.
- Delivery dates are indicative and subject to change; the Seller shall not be liable for any delays beyond their reasonable control.
- Risk in the vehicle passes to the Buyer upon collection or delivery, whichever occurs first.
- Buyers are responsible for ensuring the vehicle is insured before collection or delivery.
5. Warranty & Liability
- Unless otherwise stated, vehicles are sold without warranty (“sold as seen”).
- Where a warranty is provided, the terms will be specified in a separate warranty document.
- The Seller shall not be liable for any faults or damages arising post-sale, except as required by law.
6. MOT & Roadworthiness
- Vehicles with a valid MOT certificate are considered roadworthy at the time of sale.
- Buyers are responsible for maintaining future roadworthiness, including MOT, insurance, and maintenance.
7. Customer Responsibility
- Buyers must ensure they are legally permitted and insured to operate the vehicle.
- Buyers must satisfy themselves that the vehicle meets their requirements before purchase.
8. Returns & Refunds
- Vehicles are non-returnable and non-refundable once sold, except as required by applicable law.
- Any agreed returns must be requested within a reasonable timeframe, and the vehicle must be in the same condition as sold.
9. Data Protection
- Customer data will be processed in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
- Data may be shared with relevant authorities (e.g., DVLA, insurance, finance) where legally required or necessary to complete the transaction.
10. Changes to Terms and Conditions
- UKCARRS LTD reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be informed of any significant changes.
